Dr Maja Kominko joined Arcadia in January 2012 from the University of Oxford.

Maja's academic experience has been both international and interdisciplinary: she has studied, taught and researched at universities in Poland, Italy, United Kingdom, Turkey, United States and Sweden, in Art History, History and Archaeology.

Her Oxford doctorate focused on intellectual history of late antiquity.
Her articles and her forthcoming book cover a range of subject from intellectual history, art history and cartography, to cultural exchange in medieval period in Levant.
