In 2021 we awarded $141 million in grants. Our annual report is now available, in which we share highlights from our grantees’ work and details on new initiatives. Last year we launched two new regranting programmes to support investigative journalism and to remove redundant dams that choke Europe's rivers. We also supported local conservation organizations whose long term viability has been impacted by the pandemic, and we have helped the Wikimedia endowment reach its $100m fundraising goal.
